Associate Pastor/Youth Minister

Broad Street Baptist Church is a conservative, Bible-believing, evangelical, missions-minded SBC congregation in rural Georgia in the city limits of Hawkinsville. Our pastor has been leading our congregation for nearly 20 years and we average around 135 on a Sunday morning. The congregation is friendly, united, and multi-generational.

Our church is looking for a Christ-honoring, hardworking, and humble man to serve in the full-time position of Associate Pastor/Minister of Youth. This individual must have a desire to spend time and invest in the lives of students, grades 6-12. He must be willing to work with a youth committee and be involved in the community. There will be also be opportunities to teach and disciple public school students during the day through our Christian Learning Center. He must be able to fill the pulpit in the absence of the pastor and serve the church as a whole in areas as needed. He must be focused on discipleship, doctrinally and biblically sound, have a passion for reaching the nations, and qualified Scripturally as an elder as described in 1 Timothy and Titus. He must adhere to the BF&M 2000 as this is the statement of faith for the church. He will be serving under the leadership of the pastor and in conjuction with the purpose and goals of the congregation. Some theological training in Bible college or seminary is preferred.
