Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, crafts, and lessons.
• Help prepare and serve snacks and lunch.
• Change diapers and assist with potty training while maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene procedures.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Encourage positive behavior and help children develop social and emotional skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily routines.
• Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
