Worship Pastor: Job Description

Purpose: Oversee the worship ministry at The church Network. 

Reports to: Lead Pastor

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Oversees Worship/Production Ministry.
• Preparing Musical worship portion of our worship service.
• Overseeing and discipling worship and production team.
• Developing other musically talented persons to be able to lead a worship service.
• Cultivating the vision of the church to the worship team.
• Helps direct and cultivate vision and direction of the church
• Meets regularly with the Lead Pastor about direction and vision of the church Louisburg.
• Helps with development and implementation of new direction and ministry roles for worship team.
• Help create an excitement around culture and changes in the ministry.
• Sunday preparation.
• Make sure worship team members are practicing the worship set prior to Sunday morning.
• Prepares worship set.
• Helps with flow of service from start of service to announcements.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Recruits, trains, and retains volunteer leaders for the Worship/Production Ministry.

Personal Responsibilities:

1. Passionately pursue a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.

2. Maintain the God ordained priorities in your life putting Jesus Christ first, your  spouse second, children third and the ministry fourth.

3. Giving your tithe to the church Louisburg.

4. Avoid the appearance of evil, let no hint of immorality exist and conduct life in utmost integrity in all situations.

5. Maintain loyalty to the vision and staff of the church and always protect the unity God has given this church.

6.  Investing and inviting the lost to know Jesus Christ and “come” to The church Louisburg.

Salary Range: $25,000-$30,000
