Youth Director

Centenary United Methodist is seeking a relational, spiritually grounded, and enthusiastic Part-Time Youth Director to guide and support the faith development of youth in grades 7 through 12. This role is ideal for someone who feels called to create a welcoming space for young people to explore their faith, ask meaningful questions, build Christian friendships, and participate actively in the life of the church.

The Youth Director will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and leading regular programming, Sunday School, seasonal events, and/or service opportunities.

Hours are 10 to 20 per week. This position is flexible and can work around another schedule. Some weeks it will be less hours, other weeks there will be more (i.e. mission trip, should that be decided).

This is a great opportunity for a self starter who would like to design and grow a youth program. There is quite a bit of flexibility as to the direction of the program in order to meet youth where they are at today (in conjunction with the senior pastor and appropriate church leadership).

Experience is preferred but we can train the right person. Must pass background check.
