Position Overview

The Worship Associate supports the Worship Ministry by helping plan and lead engaging Sunday worship experiences. This role serves as both a platform leader and ministry leader, assisting with volunteer development, scheduling, service planning, and worship administration.

Qualifications

·       A life of integrity, rooted in personal Gospel transformation

·       A growing disciple with a consistent devotional life

·       Demonstrated musical ability with strong vocal leadership

·       Proficient on acoustic guitar and/or keyboard

·       Familiarity with Planning Center Services and Multitracks Playback

·       Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

·       Self-motivated, independent, teachable, and dependable

Relational Leadership

·       Recruit, encourage, and care for worship ministry volunteers

·       Help cultivate a culture of spiritual growth, excellence, and teamwork

·       Assist with onboarding and training new musicians and vocalists

Strategic Leadership

·       Collaborate with the Creative & Worship Director to plan engaging worship experiences

·       Help evaluate worship services and identify opportunities for improvement

·       Contribute ideas for worship nights, special services, and seasonal events

Operational Leadership

·       Lead worship on assigned Sundays and special services

·       Prepare and maintain Planning Center Services plans

·       Build and maintain Multitracks Playback sessions

·       Schedule worship volunteers and communicate weekly service details as needed

·       Lead rehearsals & services as assigned

·       Maintain worship charts, arrangements, and song library organization

·       Serve as the primary worship leader when the Creative & Worship Director is unavailable
