About Us

Cornerstone Church is a non-denominational congregation founded in 1990. About 50 people call Cornerstone home, gathering for Sunday worship, weekly small groups, and youth ministry. We are a multigenerational church committed to serving one another, our community, and missions near and far. Our members bring diverse gifts to music, teaching, technology, and the arts.

Our Community

Mosinee is a welcoming Wisconsin river town with four seasons, outdoor activities, good schools, and a safe environment.

The Role

We seek a pastor who loves Jesus and is committed to His calling. This position begins part-time (20 hours/week) with potential to grow full-time as the church expands.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead worship, preach, administer communion, baptisms, and prayer.
• Provide pastoral care: counseling, visitation, weddings, funerals.
• Oversee ministries and church business with the Board of Trustees.
• Encourage evangelism, discipleship, and community engagement.
• Support staff, volunteers, and missionaries.

Candidate Profile

• Born-again believer who has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts)
• Baptized in the name of Jesus (Acts)
• Spiritually mature, prayerful, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
• Committed to Scripture as the infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
• Meets biblical qualifications of leadership (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, 1 Peter 5).
• Humble, organized, fiscally responsible, and effective in communication.
• Able to disciple across generations and foster church growth.
• Ministry experience required; Bible college training preferred.

Cornerstone Church is an independent Apostolic Pentecostal church founded in 1990. Our growing congregation consists of approximately 50 people who call Cornerstone home. In addition to Sunday Service, we hold (3) weekly small group meetings in the surrounding communities to accommodate our members & friends, plus youth group meetings held weekly throughout most of the year. Our church family is multigenerational and focused on serving each other and communities near and far. We generously support missions and do our best to pursue the calling God has for us. We are blessed with talented musicians, singers, teachers and those capable of ministering the Word. Our church family also includes those who are artistically creative and possess skills in technology, administration, and various trades.
