Family & Worship Pastor

The Vision

Are you a creative leader with a heart for multi-generational ministry? Crystal River Community Church is seeking a Family & Worship Pastor to join our team. This is a unique, "ground-floor" opportunity for someone who loves to build. We are looking for a leader to breathe life into our Sunday worship experience and, more importantly, to architect a brand-new Youth and Children’s Ministry from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

1. Worship Leadership

• Lead and oversee the musical portion of our weekly Sunday services.
• Recruit, audition, and shepherd a team of volunteer musicians and vocalists.
• Manage technical aspects in coordination with our tech volunteers.

2. Youth and Children’s Ministry Development

• Create: Launch a new program for children and youth where none currently exists.
• Connect: Build relationships with students and families in our community.
• Grow: Design events that help families follow Jesus.

• A Growing Disciple: Your relationship with Jesus is the foundation of everything you do.
• A Gifted Communicator: You can lead a room in worship and also explain the Gospel to a 5-year-old or a 16-year-old.
• A Builder: You aren't intimidated by a blank canvas; you are energized by the challenge of starting a new ministry.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading musical worship (vocal and instrumental).
• Experience in Children’s or Youth Ministry.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Theological alignment with the Global Methodist Church.
