About the EFCA Rocky Mountain District
The EFCA (Evangelical Free Church) Rocky Mountain district spreads from lower South Dakota through all of Wyoming and Colorado. The opportunities for new church starts are growing in all areas from rural communities, towns, university towns, cities, and suburbs. Our passion in multiplying disciples through multiplying healthy churches and leaders.
Our Vision
To plant transformational and multiplying churches among all people.
Training and Teamwork
Each church planter is offered assessments, training on practical skills to start a church, ongoing coaching, pastoral care, and opportunities residency programs. We also have a community of planters and spouses who connect and support one another. Contact us for more specifics.
Opportunity Details
We have opportunities all across our district along with specific church plant residency opportunities. We are looking for fresh start-ups in targeted areas as well as candidates to serve at a resident church and partner to plant. We desire to see plants for all ethnicities and in multiple languages.
Northern Colorado Residency.
We have a growing, gospel-centered church in northern Colorado desiring to plant a church in a surrounding community. North Colorado is one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country and presents a great opportunity to reach the lost. The planter called to this adventure would go through our residency program while partnering with this church to build a team, prepare, and launch a new church.
Wyoming Residency
We have an opportunity to work with several Wyoming Churches in order to plant a church. The planter would be able to prayerfully choose a community in from various targeted towns.
Called to a specific location in our region? We are equipped to work in communities and start a plant from the ground up. We also are ready to partner with bi-vocational pastors with a vision to reach the community.
