About New River Fellowship

New River Fellowship is known for its authentic atmosphere, first-rate worship experience, and spirit-filled preaching. We exist to facilitate life-changing encounters in the presence of God. As a church, we believe in the value of seeking God’s presence, accepting the freedom from condemnation that Jesus freely gives through the power of His Spirit and staying in close community with fellow believers.

We are a non-denominational church at the center of a rapidly growing community. Families are attracted to the highly acclaimed Aledo and Weatherford school districts within Parker County, with projections of 50,000 new homes being developed in the next 10 years. We are ideally located approximately 20 minutes west of Dallas/Fort Worth, attracting a cross-section of young families, cowboys and those who’ve felt like outsiders.

The vision of New River Fellowship began 20 years ago as two church plants were meeting in different areas of Parker County, Texas. Those churches came together to establish and build a permanent location for New River Fellowship in 2000. After an extended growth period, the church opened a new Worship Center and fully remodeled NRGen building in 2015.

New River ministers to people of all ages every weekend through in-person and online worship services.
