Lead Minister

The next Lead Minister of Parkside Christian Church will be a shepherd‑leader who brings biblical clarity, relational warmth, and visionary direction to a congregation eager for renewal. Spiritual & Personal Qualifications ● Deep, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. ● Strong commitment to Scripture as the authority for faith and practice. ● Humble, prayerful, and Spirit‑led in decision‑making. ● High integrity, emotional maturity, and relational wisdom. ● Has and currently is discipling others. Preaching & Teaching ● Able to communicate biblical truth clearly, practically, and compellingly. ● Connects Scripture to everyday life with relevance and depth. ● Comfortable preaching to an intergenerational congregation. ● Values discipleship, spiritual formation, and equipping believers. Leadership & Vision ● Provides clear direction while honoring Parkside’s heritage. ● Skilled at guiding a church through transition with steadiness and hope. ● Collaborative leader who works well with elders, staff, and volunteers. ● Able to unify, inspire, and mobilize the congregation toward mission. Relational Strengths ● Warm, approachable, and genuinely caring. ● Invests in relationships with staff, leaders, and congregation. ● Shepherds people through life’s joys and sorrows. ● Values community engagement and presence. ● Has a group of men who currently exhort, correct, and encourage you, and would seek out similar relationships at Parkside. Administrative & Organizational Skills ● Competent in managing staff, ministry systems, and church operations. ● Communicates clearly and transparently. ● Understands healthy church governance and shared leadership. ● Able to identify and implement new management systems to improve church operations. Preferred Experience ● Prior pastoral leadership experience in a church of similar size or complexity. ● Experience leading through transition or revitalization is beneficial. ● Demonstrated ability to grow ministries and develop leaders.
