The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas (just north of Houston) is seeking an experienced Video Director/Systems Engineer who has a passion for participating in planning, set-up, operation and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting equipment for worship services, conferences, and special events. Working under the Technical Director to bring excellence, execution, and leadership to the Production Dept.

Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain all video systems to ensure proper operation
- Direct the video crew and volunteers during services
- Research new technology to assist with creating a great environment
- Trouble shoot and diagnose issues with the video system
Position Qualifications:
- Experience or training in operating live performances
- Broad understanding of current technologies, operations, and installations
- Experience recruiting, building and training a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment, with a positive attitude
- Experience producing worship services
- Experience planning and producing Video for live worship and events of varies styles
- Detail-oriented
- Strives for excellence – not perfection
- Ability to make decisions during time-sensitive, live productions
- Ability to work within a team environment with other ministry leaders being an active contributor during production meetings
- Be a creative thinker in planning for services, special services, and other events

- ARKAOS, ProVideoPlayer, and ProPresenter media servers and graphics display systems
- Planning Center
- LED Video Walls
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- May be called upon for lifting, pulling, climbing, bending, carrying, and pushing as needed to set up activities and events
- Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred
- Knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools (Required)
