We are a growing church replant in Dublin, Georgia, committed to the authority of Scripture, expositional preaching, gospel-centered ministry, and the Great Commission. The Lord has been faithful in revitalizing our congregation, and we are prayerfully seeking the right man to help us continue building a healthy, Christ-exalting church.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Worship & Student Minister who is creative, resourceful, and theologically grounded. This man will lead our congregation in Christ-centered, theologically rich corporate worship and shepherd our middle and high school students with a vision to develop the next generation of faithful disciples.

This role requires both a pastoral heart and musical competency, with a passion for seeing students rooted in sound doctrine and actively integrated into the life of the church.

Primary Responsibilities:

Worship Ministry

• Plan and lead weekly corporate worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor
• Select songs that are doctrinally sound and congregationally accessible
• Develop and shepherd volunteer musicians and vocalists
• Oversee service flow, media, and technical elements
• Cultivate a worship culture that is God-centered rather than performance-driven

Student Ministry

• Lead and develop a biblically faithful ministry for middle and high school students
• Teach Scripture clearly and faithfully
• Equip parents as the primary disciplers of their children
• Recruit and train adult volunteers
• Provide pastoral care and discipleship for students

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ
• Agreement with BFM 2000
• Called to pastoral ministry
• Seminary training preferred (completed or in progress)
• Demonstrated musical ability to lead congregational worship
• Experience in student ministry preferred
• Strong character, humility, and teachability
• A heart for church revitalization and long-term ministry

About Dublin, GA

Dublin is a family-friendly community in middle Georgia with a low cost of living and strong community values. It offers the warmth of small-town life while being within reasonable driving distance of larger cities.

In the late 1950s, a group of believers gathered together to form Saxon Heights Baptist Church. In 1985, the church moved to the current property as Springdale Baptist Church. In 2021, after an extended period of decline, Springdale voted to restart as Wellspring with a new vision and a new commitment to fulfill the mission of God. At Wellspring, we desire to see lives changed, families strengthened, and our community reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ!

God has called us to serve the community of Dublin, GA. We are located at 1701 Springdale Road in a racially, economically, and generationally diverse neighborhood. Within a 20-minute drive of our property, demographics show a population of around 25,000 people. Many of these people are close to us yet far from God.
