The Disaster Relief Director serves as the senior leader responsible for the strategic direction, leadership development, and external relationships of Texans on Mission disaster relief operations. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team’s Chief Missions Officer, this role functions as a senior command-level leader responsible for building and leading high-capacity teams, cultivating relationships with emergency managers, churches, associations, other state directors, and state government partners, and ensuring organizational readiness for large-scale disaster response. The Director would not personally manage every operation, but install, equip, and lead those who do, while providing clarity, authority, and spiritual leadership in complex, high-pressure environments.
