Niemond’s Independent Church is currently praying for and seeking the will of God for a full-time pastor whose teaching and life reflect his love for the Lord, His Word, and His people. Our congregation is centrally located within rural Pennsylvania, and it serves the Village of Richfield and the communities surrounding Juniata and Snyder Counties. We are a Bible-believing independent church with a history of over 200 years of service to the Lord. Our mission, as based upon Matthew 28:19, is to win the lost for Christ both locally in the community and in the foreign field. Our love for Jesus Christ and desire to seek, grow, and go is demonstrated through a variety of worship, fellowship, and service opportunities. Our church body has been blessed with an average of 150 in attendance across generations.
Our current pastor is planning to relocate closer to family and a part-time ministry opportunity and we wish him the best as he prepares for this new chapter in life and ministry. We seek a leader who will be a man of God who exemplifies the servant-leadership described in 1 Peter 5:1-4; demonstrating the integrity to shepherd our congregation, the wisdom to oversee our church staff and programs, and whose ministry reflects a balance of disciplined Bible study and a heart for providing pastoral care to our families and the community.
