HIRING NOW — My Father’s Arrows Ministry is looking for responsible Christians that identify with our core values and adopt our mission as their own. We need individuals capable of utilizing a nurturing and loving approach to provide boundaries and structure with children affected by trauma.
The trauma informed caregivers play a key role in our holistic philosophy of care by using a team-oriented approach in the care of our children. A calm and controlled demeanor is essential for this job. Our challenge as a team is to minister to the "whole" child. The caregiver provides direct care for a small group of boys and girls, age 0 to 17, to foster their character, spiritual, emotional growth, along with vocational skill sets.
If you're the kind of person who can see the broken heart of a child in need, and can teach and nurture them with consistency even when they aren't loving you back, you're the kind of person we're looking for.
We're looking for staff who feel God's call to orphan care, and who love to "do life" with other Christian brothers and sisters. We are a distinctly faith-based organization who care for children from private placements who have been affected by trauma through abuse, neglect, abandonment, or rejection.
