Business Manager – St. Malachy Catholic Church & School
St. Malachy Catholic Church; School is seeking a mission driven Business Manager to provide leadership and administrative oversight of the parish’s financial, personnel, and facility operations. This role serves as a steward of parish resources, ensuring that ministries and school operations are supported and equipped to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, payroll processes, and long term planning.
- Supervise parish business staff, including Bookkeeper, Facility Manager, Technology Manager, and Registrar/Financial Assistant.
- Manage facility operations, contracts, bids, insurance, and major purchases.
- Support human resources processes including benefit administration, evaluations, and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the Pastor and serve as liaison to the Archdiocese on financial and HR matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience (5–10 years).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with Church norms regarding temporal goods.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information and navigate complex or sensitive situations with professionalism.
