Summary: The overall objective of the building coordinator position is to work with the Director of Operations and the church Facility Committee to ensure that our building is maintained in an efficient manner that supports a welcoming environment, that routine maintenance is carried out and to help church leaders understand and craft a plan to tackle facility issues.
Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Position requires an individual with the following:
communication skills, give and receive candid feedback, is open to different viewpoints, shows respect for others, and maintains appropriate boundaries.
Work Week: This position is a 5/hr. week position with some flexibility to adjusted work schedule, evening and weekend hours in order to support events and functions with sufficient notice and plan.
Wage: $15/hr.
Probationary Period: Three (3) months initial probation. After the probationary period, the individual will be evaluated annually. This is an at-will position. The coordinator can present proposals to the church to address issues that exceed the 5hr/wk. position.
