Refinery Campus Pastor

Refinery Church

 

Accountable to and direct report to: Lead Pastor Refinery Church Network.  

 

Purpose: To work with Refinery Campus church family and make a significant impact for Christ in the community and around the world.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Main teacher Sundays for Refinery service.
  • Provides oversight and coordination for all Campus ministries.
  • Provide needed prayer and council for members as needed.
  • Set the example for Godly living and conduct. (2 Timothy 3)
  • Cast vision and provide Godly direction and leadership for the church.
  • Coordinate follow-up, Pastoral Care, and advancement of the ministry.
  • Follow the Preaching series and ministry of Refinery Church.
  • Obtain approval of all expenditures over $500.00 from Lead Pastor of Refinery Church Network.
  • Work and communicate with other ministries that shares the Campus.
  • Work with Lead Pastor of Refinery Church Network to set goals and expectations.
  • Share in and lead others to fulfill the vision and strategy of Refinery Church.
  • Fill out weekly report and return to Lead Pastor by Tuesday noon each week.

Qualifications:

1.     Display an unswerving commitment to the Refinery Church vision

 Organization

2.     Adheres to, and strives toward the fulfillment of the 1 Timothy 3 standard as a church leader

3.     Superior understanding of, and ability to lead organizational systems and achieve structural development

4.     Extraordinary ability to recruit, train, inspire and lead volunteers

5.     Exhibits on–going commitment to professional development

  1. Exceptional interpersonal skills (be people orientated).

7.     Extraordinary positive attitude

8.     Strong Communicator

9.     Credentialed minister (or working on it) in good standing with the Southern California Network of the Assemblies of God.

  1. Be well organized and able to think ahead.
  2. Recognize the importance of church family life.
  3. Have a heart to see people grow in their relationship with Christ.
