Associate Pastor: Discipleship and Community Engagement

Cross Point Fellowship (www.crosspointny.com), a growing church in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, is searching for a full time Associate Pastor to help advance its mission. This pastor will focus primarily on our discipleship and community engagement ministries but we are willing to adjust the position based upon the strengths of the right candidate.

Cross Point was planted fifteen years ago with a mission to reach people for Christ. That mission, coupled with our passion for community service, is still the heartbeat of the church. Cross Point is active in regional church planting as both a sending and partnering church. We provide financial support, mission teams and coaching to a number of church plants in the Mid-Hudson Valley and actively serve with the Church Planting Teams from the Hudson Baptist Association, Baptist Convention of New York and the SBC’s North American and International Mission Boards.

Situated at the foot of the Catskill Mountains and western shore of the Hudson River, our region is both beautiful and filled with recreational and cultural activities. We are a multi-generational church with approximately one third of the church found in each of the Boomer, Millennial and Gen X categories. Located on the edge of Kingston, New York, our county’s religious composition is 60% no affiliation, 28% Catholic, 8% Mainline Christian and 2% Evangelical Christian, 2% other. We live in a mission field.
