Countryside Christian Church is a Bible believing church with a caring heart. We are an independent, fundamental body of believers. We hold to a historical - grammatical literal way of interpreting the Bible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Shepherd the families, members, and friends at Countryside. The Pastor/Elder’s role is to work alongside other men, a plurality of Elders, all of which are considered co- equals and have been called to be Pastor/Elder/Shepherds at CCC. We are asking God to send us a pastor who is a Biblical preacher and teacher, able to relationally communicate the truth in love. We are praying for this man to have at least three years of pastoral experience and proven abilities for discipling people, developing ministry leaders, and mobilizing church members for ministry. Furthermore, we are looking for a pastor who will help us build our men’s, women’s and children’s ministries and reach unchurched families in our community. In all, we are looking for a spiritual leader who celebrates the Great Commission, bringing a heart for both discipleship and outreach.

Education/Experience Requirements

A demonstrated gifting and background in preaching God’s word – has experienced the challenge of sermon prep and delivery on a regular basis.

Has undergone Bible College or another ministry training (Bachelor’s degree or higher) Seminary is preferred. At least 3 years of experience as a Pastor, or equivalent experience in another full-time ministry is preferred.

Be of Sound character and integrity, meeting Biblical qualifications for an Elder/Pastor. 1Timothy 3; Titus 1; 1 Peter 5:1-4.

Theological perspective that is fundamental, conservative, and adherent to the inerrancy of the whole Word of God.
