At Generation Church, we exist to help people say "yes" to Jesus. We are disciple-making followers of Jesus, committed to the process of following Jesus, becoming like Jesus and helping others do the same.

We believe worship is not just something we do on Sundays but a way of life. We are looking for a Worship + Creative Director who will help us create a worship culture that is multi-generational, multi-cultural, and Christ-centered — bringing people together to experience the presence of God in authentic and creative ways.

About the Role:

The Worship + Creative Director will:

• Lead the church in worship experiences that are authentic, Spirit-led, and rooted in biblical truth.

• Help build a diverse and unified worship team that reflects our community.

• Use creativity to engage people both in-person and online.

• Connect worship to our larger mission of making disciple-making followers of Jesus.

• Raise up, empower, and disciple new worship leaders, musicians, and creatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead weekly worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.

• Build, equip, and disciple a diverse team of vocalists, musicians, and production volunteers.

• Create worship experiences that embrace multiple cultures, styles, and generations.

• Manage worship and creative scheduling through our CRM called Planning Center.

• Oversee creative staff in areas of: stage design, video, livestream, social media support.

• Recruit and empower new team members.

• Develop new worship leaders through mentorship and discipleship.

• Collaborate with staff on special events, creative elements, and outreach efforts.

• Foster a culture where serving is our privilege and nothing is beneath us.

• Be actively present before and after services to connect with people.

• Participate in Generation’s leadership meetings, retreats, and training opportunities.

• Loves Jesus passionately and leads others to do the same.

• Thrives in a team-driven environment, celebrating collaboration.

• Is passionate about making worship accessible across cultures and generations.

• Has strong musical ability (vocals and/or instrument) and leadership gifting.

• Possesses strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

• Values growth and feedback as part of following Jesus.

• Has an "equip and deploy" mindset: raising up others to serve and lead.

• Shows humility, hunger, and a willingness to innovate.

• Understands that worship is a lifestyle, not just a Sunday service.

Additional Details:

• Full-time position

• Salary commensurate with experience

• Reports to the Lead Pastor, in conjunction with our Operations Director
