Oakhill Baptist Church is a vibrant, growing, multi-generational, multi-staff church in Evansville, Indiana. We possess vibrant, weekly worship experiences that are coupled with dynamic preaching. We are seeking a full-time Worship Pastor that will partner with our church to enhance the Worship Ministry.
Oakhill is a very healthy and growing church. The Pastor and elders enjoy partnering together in ministry and genuinely care for one another. The church has a sweet, loving, and supportive way about it. While it is not a perfect church, it does reflect a church that has its priorities in the right place. Oakhill is blessed with many talented musicians that love to use their giftedness to serve the Lord. We also have a robust production team that handles sound, lights, presentation, and live streaming. The Worship Pastor will step into this role having great worship and tech teams to work with.

Evansville is the third largest city in Indiana and the largest in the southern part of the state. Evansville is only 2-3 hours away by car to cities such as Nashville, St. Louis, Louisville, and Indianapolis. As of the 2018 census, the city had a total population of 117,298 and a metropolitan population of 358,676. Located on the Ohio River, Evansville promotes typical Midwest living with its rolling hills and beautiful seasons. Outdoor lovers enjoy all that the seasons have to offer, including summer water recreation and fall festivals. The shopping center in Evansville attracts natives all across the state of Indiana. Because of this, the retail industry in the city is robust. Other major corporate headquarters and manufacturing centers include Atlas Van Lines, Toyota, Berry Global, Shoe Carnival, and One Main Financial. The city has several well-known institutions of higher education such as the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana.
