Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for maintaining human resources policies, programs, and practices that effectively supports the mission, constitution, and bylaws of Christ Community Church.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Maintain personnel files
  • Maintain employee background check compliance with child protection policy
  • Maintain employee benefit policies and provider contracts
  • Administer wellness program
  • Manage worker’s compensation audit
  • Administer staff recognition program
  • Maintain compendium of position descriptions, ensuring accuracy, flexibility, and comparative equivalency
  • Assist with compliance reporting to Federal, state and local regulatory agencies
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements 
  • Participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations
  • Maintain historical and confidential corporate records 
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess and model integrity of heart and skillful hands
  • Embrace Christ Community’s doctrine, mission, and philosophy, and culture 
  • Preferred education and experience: A bachelor’s degree and three to five years’ human resource experience, or a master’s degree in human resource management and two years’ experience in the HR field, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Good communicator, both written and verbally
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to influence others and manage change
  • Flexible yet professionally assertive
  • Attentive to detail and follow through, organized
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient in computer applications
