Overview:

Masonboro Baptist Church is seeking a friendly, organized, and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This vital role supports the smooth daily operations of the church and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage church office operations, including phone calls, emails, and mail
  • Maintain church calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate events
  • Prepare bulletins, newsletters, and other communications
  • Maintain membership records and databases
  • Provide administrative support to the pastor and ministry leaders
  • Assist with financial record-keeping
  • Assist with church website and social media apps
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold church values

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • Proven administrative or office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Apps, and Realm software (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and a heart for ministry
