Director of Business Operations

The Director of Business Operations is responsible for directing business areas of Prestonwood Baptist Church (“Church”), providing contractual guidance for church obligations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the contract and agreement compliance process:

• Receive and review fully executed agreements for record keeping

• Receive insurance COI’s for outside groups per contractual agreements

• Manage the Property and Casualty insurance for all Church entities which includes:

• Renewals and endorsements

• Receive and process claim requests

• Review and request payment of premiums

• Generate COI’s as required for agreements entered into by the Church and its entities

• Develop and manage a Risk Management plan to include:

• Safety Training

• OSHA compliance

• Work Comp follow-up in cooperation with Human Resources

• Child Protection

• Incident Tracking

• Manage the sexual awareness training program designed to protect Church minors and vulnerable population from sexual abuse

• Oversee the Volunteer Onboarding Assistants

• Revise existing, and develop new, Policies and Procedures to support Church ministries

• Interface with other departments as needed to accomplish responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church

• Analytical, process-oriented thinker with ability to work alone, collaboratively and with a team

• Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and strategic organizational planning, coordination, and execution using proven leadership techniques

• High level of computer, verbal and written communication skills

• Legal background a plus
