Minister of Music & Education

FBC is seeking qualified candidates who have a heart for worship and discipleship. The primary role of the Minister of Music and Education will be to lead God's people in Christ-centered worship during weekly gatherings. We have one Sunday service and a slate of midweek activities for all ages. As a leader/administrator, the minister will be responsible for planning and implementing church music ministries, including adult choir, children' choir, and regular worship services. This includes coordinating with musicians and volunteer leaders who will assist in the ministry. The candidate will also work with the pastoral staff to plan and provide sound biblical teaching through Sunday morning Bible studies, midweek gatherings, and seasonal small group studies.

FBC is located in a charming county seat town in Western Kentucky. We are about 90 miles north of Nashville, TN and roughly 60 miles south of Evansville, IN. Like so many churches, we have seen some turnover in our congregation over the past year or so. Recently, there has been a renewal of energy and focus in our church. Our pastoral team is working to lead the church to minister to the community in a way that is biblical, missional, practical, and effective.
