Position Description: The Production & Technology Manager will oversee the effective fusion of technology, equipment, and trained volunteers, supporting creative arts and the proclaimed Word for the transforming ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Technology Ministry Director will provide leadership to ensure an integrated, proficient, effective platform in support of LW’s celebration ministries; serving as the primary leader responsible for all aspects of trustworthy equipment and personnel (a results-driven, forward-thinking servant leader).

- A demonstrated familiarity with basic production technology equipment and software
- Able to accomplish basic system updates, and equipment selections
- A person who is primarily people-oriented with good relational skills who is able to recruit, mobilize and support others in the tasks of serving on the sound/light/video/Livestream team
- Familiarity with social media platforms; YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, etc.
- Ability to work independently, comfortable working alone, self-motivated
- Ability to work with the Elders and Staff to execute the technology strategy of LW’s vision

Specific Responsibilities:
- Point person for technology equipment implementation, volunteer scheduling and problem troubleshooting
- During services – immediate solution; enough to get operational
- Between functions – long term solutions
- Facilitating basic maintenance and system updates of the technical equipment of LW; including working with vendors when necessary
- Recruit, equip, coach, and empower volunteers to facilitate the sound/light/video/Livestream ministries on Sundays, Wednesday evenings, and special events
- Assure proper startup and shutdown of production equipment for Sunday services, InterGen services, and Special functions such as Weddings, Funerals, and non-church events
- Requisitioning of supplies and equipment needed for technology systems
- Work with the finance team to build and manage the technology budget
- Supporting Social Media and Database (breeze) processes of LW
- Be available for other facilities related and miscellaneous ministry support tasks as assigned
Technology Elements:
- Stage Lighting – train volunteers, review weekly, and reset as needed
- ProPresenter – train volunteers, software updates, verify file stream operational, troubleshoot
- Live Stream – train volunteers, verify live stream operational, troubleshoot as needed
- Castr, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
- WiFi/Internet - verify equipment operational, troubleshoot as needed
- Apple TV’s - software updates, troubleshoot as needed
- Video Conferencing – train volunteers, verify operational, troubleshoot as needed
- Outdoor Services - train volunteers, facilitate equipment setup, troubleshoot as needed
