What you’ll do

• Lead Kids & Student ministries: oversee weekly programs, small groups, large-group teaching, events, retreats, and service opportunities.
• Recruit & develop volunteers: identify, train, mentor, and shepherd volunteer leaders across administration, small groups, worship/tech, and large-group teams.
• Partner across ministries: collaborate with campus and regional teams to align programming, share resources, and ensure smooth transitions between generations.
• Plan events & creative elements: help design and execute special events, staging, props, media, and curriculum in partnership with central teams.
• Maintain safety & culture: ensure a welcoming, safe environment that supports spiritual growth for kids, middle school, and high school students.
• Manage operations: handle scheduling, volunteer databases, budgets, and administrative tasks with strong follow-through.

What we’re looking for

• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3+ years ministry experience preferred, especially in Generations, youth, or student ministry.
• Pastorally gifted: Relational, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about reaching kids and students.
• Leader-builder: Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers and student leaders.
• Organized executor: Strong project management, communication, and administrative skills; comfortable with Google apps and ministry tools.
• Spiritual character: Committed, growing relationship with Jesus; integrity, humility, and alignment with CCC’s mission and Statement of Faith.

HOW WE GOT HERE

If God could take a little brick building on Tibet Ave in Savannah in 1964 and transform it into what Compassion Christian Church is today, what could He do through you? Our vision, from the day of our founding to today, has remained the same: to welcome people into our church and pray they leave feeling like they have found a home.

Over the years, we've expanded to seven campuses, plus an online presence, creating a multi-racial, multi-generational congregation dedicated to leading people to Jesus—not just in Southeast Georgia, but all across the world.
