Technical Director

Classification: Fulltime / Salaried

Ministry- Technical/Production - Creative Arts Team

Summary:

Summit Church is seeking a new Technical Director to add to our team. Our current Technical Director is departing to pursue a different career path, but will be staying on to serve in a volunteer capacity. We believe this will give the new director an incredible support system for the job. The Technical Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all facets of technical production at Summit Church. This person should be proficient at recruiting and equipping people for service to ensure that the technical aspect of the church is excellent. .

 Job Tasks:

• Coordinate, schedule and lead our Production Team
• Production Team includes, Lighting, sound, pro presenter, video switcher, 3 camera operators, Video production, and producer
• Scheduling via planning center
• Weekly contact team members via text, email and phone calls
• Recruit and train new team members

• Run point on production for services and events
• Lead service run through
• Sound Check / service sound
• Clearly communicate team roles and duties
• Test equipment prior to service to ensure function (Mics, sound, video, etc.)
• Coordinate and lead team on special events and conferences.

• Video Production
• Participate in planning meeting and script writing
• Coordinate video shoots (dates, equipment, team)
• Film videos (sermon bumpers, social media, promotional, event, etc.)
• Should be proficient in Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro
• Edit videos footage within deadlines

• Program Lighting
• Program lighting for new songs
• Program for weekend service
• Program and provide support for special events and conferences

• Program ProPresenter
• Upload videos/Lyrics

• Manage Online Content
• Manage church online service account (Boxcast)
• Ensure quality online mix
• Ensure multi-site functionality (Youtube, Facebook)

• Stage design
• Participate in planning meetings
• Help with the install of new stage designs
