Worship Pastor

New Life Assembly of God is a dynamic, Spirit-filled, multi-cultural, Assembly of God church in South Florida that exists to develop a community of believers, who love God, love people and reach the World.

We are seeking a full-time Worship and Digital Media Pastor, who is comfortable and adept at working in a multi-cultural environment (mainly Hispanic and Caribbean).

Purpose

The ministry of the Worship and Digital Media pastor is to provide and develop a music and digital media ministry that contributes to the overall ministry of the church, and to lead people into the presence of God through worship. The worship and digital media ministry should attract people to Christ, and edify and build up Gods people.

To accomplish this, the Worship Pastor must:

Develop a culture of excellence and worship with singers and band members.

Provide oversight, leadership, pastoral care and discipleship in all areas of the worship and digital media ministry (social media, graphic/creative design), and production (audio, video, lighting)

Recruit, develop and raise people to serve in these areas of ministry.

Lead Spirit-filled worship instrumentally and vocally. The candidate must play a lead instrument (piano or guitar).

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

Exhibit a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, a healthy family life, and be a team player.

Be baptized in the Holy Spirit, have a passion for God's Word, a love for people, a servants heart, and a passion to lead people into the presence of God.

Skilled keyboard musician, able to play be ear.

Sensitive to the Spirit, and able to flow with the move of God.

Ability to graciously shepherd, lead, train develop a volunteer worship and media team.

Ability to lead worship with a team or individually.

The ability to execute a long term vision for the worship and digital media ministry (livestream and social media presence).

A self-motivated leader, capable of casting and imparting vision for ministry possessing good relational skills with team members, congregation and staff.

Knowledge of audio/video and livestream technology needed.
