Job Description

To provide leadership and direction to the youth ministry of Woodland Presbyterian Church. (This is a part-time position.)


Essential Functions:

 

Sunday School

  • Teach Sunday School in partnership with other volunteers
  • Coordinate volunteers to teach Middle and High School

Sunday Night

  • Create/ lead discipleship program for MS/HS with adult leaders (Aug – May)
  • Coordinate at least 1 quarterly event for MS/HS together, for example: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc

Summer

  • Plan and lead one retreat and/or mission trip for Middle and High School Students
  • Create space for discipleship relationships through ‘Hangouts’, Bible studies and relational connection
  •  

Other Duties:

  • Lead Confirmation
  • Manage Youth Program budget
  • Attend weekly staff meetings
  • Assist in worship leadership on Sunday morning when needed
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by the Senior Pastor
