Worship Pastor/Director

Lead our congregation closer and deeper into the Lord’s presence through music

 Build, strengthen, and encourage our worship team members

 Communicate with the worship team about upcoming set-lists and song details

 Schedule worship teams

 Incorporate students into worship team

 Mentor worship leaders within our church

 Ability to incorporate Scripture and prayer throughout a worship set

 Recruit and meet with those interested for the worship ministry and prayerfully discern if they

are musically and spiritually mature enough to lead.

 Meet with lead pastor once a week to pray and discuss upcoming Sunday Service

 Weekly staff meeting

 Knowledge, or a willingness to know the tech side of the worship ministry. (Learning the sound

system, ProPresenter, Live Stream, Planning Center, CCLI, etc…)

Qualifications

 Skilled in vocals and guitar/piano

 A love for the Lord that is evident through your lifestyle and your worship

 A basic knowledge of Music Theory, being able to put together a set list both musically and

theologically. 

 Ability to arrange songs creatively and transition smoothly

 Manage a team of musicians and vocalists

 The ability to harmonize is a plus!

 Bachelor’s degree (music, music ministry, ministry would be a plus)

 Experience in leading worship

Pay Range

 $250-350 weekly, depending on qualifications and experience.
