Youth Pastor

Broomfield Assembly is looking for a individual or couple to partner with us as a full-time youth pastor. We are looking for a someone passionate about seeing middle, and high school students discover Jesus and grow in Him. This position aims to develop, from the ground up, a ministry where middle school and high school students are engaged both outside and inside the walls of the church.

Broomfield Assembly is family of believers located in beautiful Broomfield Colorado just northwest of Denver and southeast of Boulder.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create a balanced ministry through developing a variety of environments for students to discover Jesus, grow in Him, and serve Him

Develop and implement strategies, budgets, and goals for growing the ministry

Expand the student ministry through recruiting and equipping new leaders

Create and maintain open lines of communication and personal involvement in the lives of students, their parents/guardians, and our church family

Provide event coordination for both high school and middle school students

Speak on occasion in the main Sunday morning service

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A builder-type who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and put in the work to establish a strong student ministry

A servant-leader who loves students, parents, and the entire church family

Someone who is teachable and understands that they can be taught by unlikely people and unlikely situations

Someone who is passionate about going outside the church walls to reach people where they are

Has energy and enthusiasm, particularly around students, yet is able to exude a calming influence when needed

Someone that likes collaboration and working with a team

A mature, a growing disciple with a consistent devotional life

A capable and influencing team leader with strong interpersonal skills

Someone familiar with current trends related to teens, parents, and families

Someone that understands effective approaches to student ministry

A self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong communication skills

Someone with strong organizational and follow through skills

Strong Bible knowledge and understanding
