Children's Pastor

The Harvest Kids Pastor will oversee Early Childhood through 5th grade ministry under the direction and leadership of the Lead Pastor. This will require a firm grasp of the beliefs, values and strategy of Harvest Chapel and the ability to align the Harvest Kids leadership team with its mission, vision and values.They will partner with parents to lead kids to a genuine sense of belonging, involvement and spiritual growth by meeting kids where they are and leading them to their next steps. The Harvest Kids Pastor will facilitate relational connection and spiritual growth of kids through Sunday and midweek environments, small groups, volunteer teams, and monthly events. There are currently 200+ children and their parents that will be under their care, and approximately 100 volunteers, as well as two kids ministry staff members (Early Childhood Coordinator and a Harvest Kids Admin).

The Harvest Kids Pastor is also a part of the larger pastoral team and works in conjunction with the rest of the staff. Our work is fast-paced, and if there is a need to change strategies in any area, we pivot quickly.

Staff members are expected to maintain good communication among the team, to be hungry learners, to steward their time and calendar well, to receive feedback well, to constantly evaluate what could be better, to have soft hearts and thick skin, and to be a cheerleader for others.

Harvest Chapel is a growing church of 1300+ attenders every week in our multiple services. This is a place where people can meet Jesus and engage in a life-giving community where everyone is welcome.
