About New Hope Church

New Hope is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, purpose-driven, nondenominational church that is congregation led. We strive to Love God, Love One Another, and DO STUFF. With God’s help we strive to learn, practice, and live this every day.

We have two services with a combined average attendance of 200 each Sunday. Our services are enriched by our contemporary Praise Team. Our staff consists of a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor (open), Worship Leader, Digital Director, Media Specialist, Children and Youth Ministry Director, Office Manager and Custodian.

The governing body consists of a Board of Directors who oversees church business, property management, ministry/mission of the church. A Pastor’s Cabinet exists to provide guidance for the spiritual management and upholding of values of the church.

Young families are very important to us, so we provide a nursery at both services. Our second service also supports an interactive preschool, elementary and middle school children ministry. Our youth attend event focused meetings during the summer and weekly fellowship during the school year. We also place a high value on small groups that meet weekly. We have Women and Men’s fellowship groups, Young Adult Ministry, and many other small groups.

Our Church’s Ministry also includes an outreach to our own church family and local families in need through our year-round “Pop-Up-Pantry” which provides a monthly free food distribution to those in need. Our “Church in Action” ministry includes outreach locally, regionally, and nationally through joint efforts with the Salvation Army, Samaritan’s Purse and other mission organizations. New Hope also supports children and missions throughout the world with Operation Christmas Child, Compassion International and Engage Africa.

We have several seasonal missions and activities to share God’s love that include Vacation Bible School, Operation Backpack (helping children with school supplies), and Bountiful Harvest (providing several hundred Thanksgiving food baskets to the needy in our four-county area).

Fortunately, our church resides in the beautiful northeastern Michigan area with many fresh water beaches on Lake Huron and thousands of acres of national forests to explore.
