THE OPPORTUNITY

The Bridge (Duluth Gospel Tabernacle) is a vibrant, multigenerational congregation in Duluth, Minnesota, with a thriving ministry to students and young adults already in full motion. As this posting goes out, a team of committed volunteer leaders is on the road with 35 of our teenagers on a week-long cross-country outreach and service trip. That's the kind of church this is.

We're not hiring someone to start a youth ministry or to draw young people in. We already have both. We're looking for a pastor who can come alongside real momentum — pouring into the leaders, students, and families who are already running hard, and helping all of it go deeper and further.

• Weekend attendance: 250
• College & young adults: 40-50
• Teenagers: 30–40
• Kids (preschool–elementary): 30-40

WHAT THIS ROLE IS ABOUT

This is a vision-and-relationship-first position. You'll serve the whole congregation alongside the Senior Pastor — preaching, pastoral care, and discipleship — while giving focused leadership to our junior and senior high youth ministry and the volunteers who make it thrive.

We lead like shepherds, not program managers. The goal isn't to run more events — it's to equip parents to disciple their own kids, develop student leaders, multiply volunteers, and create environments where teenagers discover and use their gifts. Your success is measured by the people who grow around you, not the tasks you complete.

YOU MIGHT BE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU

• Lead through relationship and trust, and instinctively equip others rather than doing it all yourself
• Are energized by joining a healthy, active ministry rather than rebuilding from scratch
• Have genuine pastoral affection for teenagers, young adults, and their families
• Can pour into and empower an existing volunteer team without taking it over
• Are filled with the Spirit, grounded in Scripture, and committed to a life of prayer
