Minister/Director of Children and Families

Lakeview Baptist Church of Delray Beach, Florida is prayerfully seeking someone to serve as Director of Children/Families. Our candidate can be either male or female. For a man interested in ordination, the title of this position could become Minster to Children/Families.

We believe the Lord is leading us to someone:

Who has a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ;

Who genuinely loves children and youth;

Who senses a call to serve children/youth and their families;

Who has good communication skills and has the ability to lead and build relationships;

Who can enlist, equip, and encourage adult volunteers;

Who has experience serving in children’s or youth ministry;

With a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field;

Who supports and affirms our beliefs (Baptist Faith and Message 2000).

Lakeview Baptist Church not only desires to make disciples, but also make future disciples among the next generation. We are in need of someone to provide leadership and oversight to our children’s ministry. We currently have a small group of children (infants through middle school), but anticipate significant growth in this area in the future.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Pastor, church leaders, members, and other volunteers to serve children, youth, and their families.

Lakeview Baptist Church has great potential. We are located in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida. Delray is home to approximately 66,000 souls. We are in southern Palm Beach County (population 1.5 million). Our church campus is approximately one mile from the Atlantic Ocean, and we are about an hour’s drive north of Miami.

This is a full-time position with a salary of up to $55,000 annually.
