The Aaron Hur Group is excited about partnering with a rapidly growing church in Central Florida. This Church started as a church plant with a handful of people and has grown to a vibrant and growing nondenominational church located in beautiful Central Florida. Every weekend, a little over a thousand people attend service to experience a Gospel-centered, life-giving worship service. They are a theologically conservative church (SBC) with a progressive methodology of worship and ministry.
From the very beginning, the church has had a strong reputation in the community and is poised to take the next step, which will expand its impact and its commitment for the next generation. With these endeavors in mind, they are excited to welcome the next Children's Pastor into a dedicated and tenured team, as they enter into this next season in the life of the church.
The Children’s Pastor will need to be a visionary, hard-working, leader of leaders who is experienced in coaching teams and building a strong, dynamic children’s ministry. The Children’s Pastor should be innovative, full of energy, creative in ideas, and passionate about partnering with the parents and community to see children experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus. This position will essentially be charged with the responsibility of taking the children’s ministry to the ‘next level’.
As a proven strategic leader and vision caster, this position will be primarily responsible for defining a large group/small group strategy for the children's ministry, which involves continually articulating a clear purpose, plan, and direction of the ministry. Ultimately, this role will successfully bring meaningful recognition and integration of the children’s ministry and family events into the life of the surrounding community.
The Children’s Pastor will be stepping into a key role in the overall ministry of the church with a team of 15 dedicated leaders and volunteers. The next Children’s Pastor will need to recruit and foster increasing levels of energy, enthusiasm, and engagement within the new and existing volunteer teams.
This role is perfect for someone who is a Culture Creator, Vision Caster, Relationship Builder, Discipleship Focused, Problem Solver, Leader Equipper and Developer.
Bachelor’s degree with a background in Christian ministries, Biblical study, or a related field.
3+ years experience in the children's ministry at a thriving church with 100+ K-5th grade children. With relevant understanding of current trends in children's ministry.
