Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Children's Ministry Leader to join our team at Yountville Community Church. The Children's Ministry Leader is responsible for the overall leadership and development of our children's ministry programs. This includes planning, leading, and evaluating all aspects of our children's ministry, including Sunday school, Bible clubs, and other special events. The Children's Ministry Leader will also be responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, and developing and maintaining relationships with parents and families.

Qualifications

• A love for Jesus and a calling to children's ministry.

• 3+ years of experience in children's ministry.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A passion for working with children and families.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for every Sunday is to provide a loving environment for children to learn more about Jesus and develop their faith. Some examples of preparing for a Sunday school program are the following:

• Bible stories: Read Bible stories to the children and discuss them in a way that they can understand. You can use puppets, flannelgraphs, or other props to help bring the stories to life.

• Songs and music: Sing songs about Jesus and his love for us. This is a great way to help children remember the stories and to get them excited about learning more about Jesus.

• Crafts: Make crafts that are related to Bible stories or Christian themes. This is a fun way for children to express their creativity and to learn about Jesus at the same time.

• Games: Play games that teach children about Jesus and his teachings. This is a great way to keep children engaged and to help them learn in a fun and interactive way.
