We are searching for a full-time Senior Pastor who embraces the Biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. We hold to the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000 and expect our candidates to do the same. Please respond if you are interested, understanding that beyond those basics, we desire the heart of a shepherd who wants to serve Canyons long term, not just an administrator.

· Shepherding the congregation for outreach, leadership, and unity within Canyons Church

Canyons Church, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, is a well-established, conservative, friendly community of Christ-followers located in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. We enjoy traditional and contemporary worship services (in English) and a service in Spanish. What draws us together is our love for the Word of God, and our relationship with Jesus. Therefore, our congregation longs to grow in living out our trust in God, in understanding our Bibles, and in teaching families and friends about who He really is!
Weekly attendance is 300 across morning services, and about 150 in Bible Classes. We host a variety of Bible studies during the week, led by members. We are congregationally governed, and Bylaws will be provided upon request.
