We are seeking a Full-time, Part-time or Bi-vocational pastor.

  • Bachelor's Degree in theology or related field.
  • Prior pastoral and ministerial experience with at least 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Must possess a willingness and ability to work with church staff and members of varying backgrounds/skill levels.
  • Experience in teaching and developing church members individually and as a group.
  • Possess maturity and commitment to grow in faithfulness and encourage others.
  • Gregarious and people oriented.
  • Possess the right to live and work in the USA.


Pastor Job Summary:

We are seeking a Pastor to serve as the spiritual leader of our church. The Pastor will be responsible for the spiritual life and growth of the congregation, including preaching, leading worship services, and developing and implementing a vision for the church’s future.


Principal function:

The pastor is responsible to the church for proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, using his/her skills in administrative leadership, and engaging in pastoral care ministries to meet the needs of persons in the church and in the community. The pastor acts as the chief administrator of the ministerial and vocational staff.


Pastor Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Preach sermons, lead worship services, and provide spiritual guidance to the congregation.

·      Develop and implement a long-term vision for the church.

·      Supervise other members of the church staff according to staff organization.

·      Develop and maintain relationships with other religious organizations and denominations.

·      Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to members of the congregation.

·      Oversee the financial operations of the church.

·      Lead outreach and mission efforts.

·      Connecting with younger generations.

·      Counseling individuals with personal and spiritual issues.

·      Visiting members in the hospital and or nursing home.

·      Leadership vision and a compelling plan for the future of the church.

·      Building relationships in which people are connected and care for one another.

·      Contribute to the growth in membership.

·      Understanding the context of our local community and approaching it with a mission mentality.

·      Be present and participate in community activities.

·      Provide wedding ceremonies and conduct funeral services; provide counseling sessions.

·      Serve as a representative of the church in civic matters.

·      Cooperate with a lead the church in cooperating with associational, state, and denominational leaders. Keep the church informed of developments within the denomination.
