Responsibilities are to preach, teach, disciple and counsel. Supervise a full time, salaried Associate Pastor plus an Administrative Assistant. Elder led church having deacons and deaconesses. Founded 1872. Average Sunday morning worship attendance is 15. We have more young families than is often the case for churches in our size town (9,000 population). Praise type music. Debt free church in good financial condition. Be in agreement with the Southern Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Prefer seminary degree. Some successfulchurch pastor leadership experience is required.
