First Christian Church (Brazil, IN) is a multi-service congregation committed to leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus through Christ-centered worship, biblical teaching, and authentic community. Our mission is to exalt God, build up the church, and make disciples, and we are seeking a full-time Worship Minister who can help shape meaningful worship experiences across both our contemporary and traditional services. This position exists to lead the church in genuine, Scripture-rooted worship while equipping volunteers to use their gifts in music, tech, and creative arts.
The Worship Minister oversees all aspects of worship ministry, including weekly service leadership, planning, and production. Core responsibilities include leading worship in both services, coordinating with the Senior Minister on sermon and service design, and incorporating biblically grounded music that fits our church culture. The role also includes developing and supervising teams in worship, tech, set design, creative arts, and communion; recruiting and training volunteers; managing budgets, scheduling, and communication; supporting video and creative content; and providing monthly reports to senior leadership. Candidates should demonstrate spiritual maturity, strong musical ability (with proficiency in guitar or piano preferred), leadership experience, organizational strength, and clear communication skills. Preferred skills include video editing, audio editing, and advanced music theory.
FCC is a warm, collaborative church family that values authenticity, participation, and servant leadership. Our mission is “Guiding People Home,” and we cultivate a strong culture of outreach, compassion, and community engagement. We are looking for someone who loves people, builds meaningful relationships, fosters an environment of excellence and encouragement, and models Christ-like character. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and education.
