Church Information:
Ray of Hope Church is located in southern Oklahoma. It is a beautiful campus on Highway 81 between the towns of Duncan, Oklahoma and Comanche Oklahoma.
We currently have an average attendance of 600 to 700 on a Sunday. We have Wednesday evening services and thriving ministries are for all ages.
Pastors, elders, and deacons lead Ray of Hope Church through the power of the Holy Spirit. In everything we desire to walk in unity as brothers in Christ especially as we lead this church. We are seeking a full-time worship minister who will join us in providing ministerial leadership to the worship ministries of Ray of Hope Church, exalt Christ, proclaim the Gospel, discipling believers, and reach our community and peoples across the world.
Pay: $40,000 to $60,000

Position Description:
Required Qualifications: (that exemplifies 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9)
Spiritual
● A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing personal relationship with Him expressed by ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession, and fellowship.
● Commitment to moral purity.
● Commitment to the mission, vision, and worship philosophy of Ray of Hope.
● A Spirit-led life and a willing spirit in the life-long pursuit of sanctification.
● A heart for the spiritual formation of those in the congregation and the worship ministry.
Professional (Proverbs 9:9-10)
● Demonstrated excellence as a worship leader.
● Has the ability to play multiple instruments and sing at an advanced level.
● Skilled use of technology in worship and of sound, lighting, computers, presentation software, and video projection.
● Has the ability to develop teams.
● Has the ability to click tracks using Ableton and the ability to use the Planning Center.
● Creative ability to incorporate other art forms (video, choir, new songs)
● Lead practice with the worship team and volunteers.
Personal (1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9)
● Strong leadership, organization, and administration skills
● An enthusiastic stage presence for leading a large church in worship
● Positive experience and attitude in managing teams and volunteers.
● Proven initiative and willingness to grow professionally
Specific Responsibilities: (Colossians 3:22-23)
● Invest time developing relationships with lost people so as to be effective in pursuing the Great Commission and helping the church to do the same.
● Set the standard for serving as lead worshiper in worship services
● Plan and direct the corporate worship services of Ray of Hope in consultation with the Lead Pastor and with prayer, conceptual forethought, Biblical accuracy, variety, sensitivity to the Spirit, and musical appropriateness. (Proverbs 21:5)
● Coordinate all aspects of the worship ministry to function together cohesively, overseeing song, media preparation and presentation, sound and lighting enhancements, and coordination of all instrumentalists, vocalists, and other participants.
● Build and equip the teams to carry out the worship areas of ROH.
● Be a dynamic, adaptable advocate for the worship ministry, its various components within the context of ROH.
● Oversee the worship department budget, organization, and volunteers.
● Plan and direct seasonal programs as outreach opportunities.
● Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate excellent worship experiences in all services.
● Ensure that all the musical and technical aspects of the service are well-planned, rehearsed, and suited to advance the theme for the day.
● Research and introduce our worship team and choir to worship training provided by conferences, books, or other ministries. (Ephesians 4:12)
● Build contacts and relationships with local musicians and organizations for both evangelistic and staffing purposes.
● Set, attain, evaluate, and modify short-term and long-term goals for the worship ministry.
Ray of Hope is a great church. We believe Christ is the focus. We do our best to use our resources to reach our area. We are a church of around 700 between the towns of Comanche, Ok and Duncan, Ok.
