Minister of Music

New Covenant Church is seeking a talented music director with a passion for bringing people into a deeper relationship with Christ through music. Responsibilities of this part-time position include directing the choir on Sunday mornings, working with the pastor in planning weekly worship music, previewing and selecting meaningful worship music for the choir, playing piano during Sunday congregational worship, leading weekly choir rehearsals, including parts practice on the piano, and providing music for special services and events. Essential qualities for this position include a love for teaching new music to the choir, and most of all, having a passion for using music to enhance the worship experience and to glorify God. Time commitment includes Sunday morning worship and weekly Wednesday night rehearsals. Salary will be commensurate with the experience and education of the applicant.
