Liberty Christian Fellowship is looking to hire a male Assistant Student Pastor. He will work alongside our female Student Pastor with students in middle school, high school, and college. We are looking for some of the following qualities along with the posted job description.

ASSISTANT STUDENT PASTOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
LIBERTY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
Purpose: To assist the Student Pastor with student group activities and discipleship/relationships with students and student leaders.
Qualifications:
- Agreement with LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry.
- Demonstration of spiritual maturity and integrity.
- Spiritual gifts or abilities which may include leadership, pastoring, encouragement, and administration.
- Ability to identify, recruit, train, and deploy leaders.
- Strong team player; reliable follow-through with people and tasks.
- Personality traits that include being warm, inviting, enthusiastic, fun.
- Experience in and passion for working with students; ability to understand student culture.
- Ability to interact well with parents and other adults.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to LCF’s Values, Doctrine, and Biblical Guidelines for Personal Discipleship and Ministry.
- Demonstrate unity with LCF, the church staff, the Leadership Team, Lead Pastor, and the Student Pastor.
- Overall Leadership – assist Student Pastor in providing overall leadership for Student Ministry.
- D-Group Leaders/Volunteer Workers – recruit, lead, train, encourage, and maintain accountability with D-Group leaders, volunteer student workers, and summer interns.
- Discipleship – provide discipleship for D-Group leaders, student worship leaders, and students; develop and conduct classes and Bible studies to provide discipleship opportunities.
- Student Services – provide leadership for Sunday student services and other weekly programming.
- Pastoral Care – provide pastoral care for students and D-Group leaders; build relational ministry with students through meeting one on one or in small groups; provide pastoral care and encouragement for parents of teens; report issues to Student Pastor.
- College Ministry – provide pastoral care for college-aged students.
- Events/Activities – attend events throughout the year; plan and oversee large group activities with students designed to build unity and relationships.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Student Pastor and/or Lead Pastor.
