Family Pastor

ABOUT THE CHURCH

CBC is a diverse, nondenominational church community seeking pastoral leadership for all ministry teams, directing staff, guiding outreach programs, and enabling the Senior Pastor to focus on his primary role of teaching and preaching.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES

1. Overseeing and nurturing CBC’s ministry teams, while identifying and responding to the pastoral needs of the general congregation.

2. Promote family spiritual growth, education and development within the church while fostering a greater sense of an overall “church family.”

3. Provide Biblically based counseling specifically in the areas of family and marriage.

4. Ideally, the Family Pastor would have a family, allowing for enhanced ministry connections through local schools and related institutions.

5. Oversight of our Children Youth ministry teams, encouraging spiritual growth and development of leaders, volunteers, and parents.

6. Provide strategic ministry guidance for men’s and women’s ministries with attention to nurturing adults, parents and grandparents, inspiring vibrant, healthy marriages, and families.

7. Work directly with accounting and operations with understanding of relevant management systems.

8. Exhibit innovative, creative leadership, promoting authentic relationships.

9. Nurture personal growth and development through training, education, and professional development sufficient to ensure effective ministry and outreach.
