Team Pastor (Youth, Worship, Associate)

Rhythm Church

Job Description

Rhythm Church is seeking a Team Pastor to be part of our leadership team. This is a full-time job that entails 30-40 hours per week. Salary is commensurable with experience. Below, you will find a list of qualifications that give very broad parameters for who we are seeking. Broad is for two reasons. First, we currently have a Teaching Pastor on staff who is getting his Ph.D. in theology, and looking to lighten his weekly workload. Therefore, we are looking to add a pastor who can uniquely add their God-given gifts, abilities, and skills to our leadership teams, but also complement our Teaching Pastor.

Secondly, we believe through this search process, we are trusting God to bring us the right person. A pastor who qualifies not just due to competency and character, but also fits with our culture and has chemistry with our church and leaders. This is not easy in 2024 when our church is Biblical, Creedal, Spirit-led, liturgical, and quite diverse politically. Hence, why we have said “Team Pastor” because the right person for this calling could take on the weekly job duties of a Youth Pastor, Family Pastor, Associate Pastor, or eventually Senior Pastor down the road, but that title as Team Pastor is secondary to the actual person’s calling and fit with our church family.
