WHO SHOULD APPLY

This position does not require experience working in vocational ministry. What’s most important is how someone fits the Boulevard Christian Church culture we are creating. We are seeking creative, energetic, godly, servants with a high capacity for ministry to a local church.

 

Position Summary:

The Worship and Tech staff person will work as part of the pastoral team to direct attendees of Boulevard Christian Church to the glory and holiness of God, while lifting high the name of Jesus, through worship.

 

Key Requirements:

  • A vital relationship with Jesus Christ, which is clearly demonstrated in your lifestyle, with a commitment to prayer, and apparent Biblical knowledge.
  • Recruit, supervise, and lead the volunteer worship teams.
  • Coordinate the music and worship ministry.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Minister in planning all worship services.
  • Communicate scheduling through Planning Center Online Services.
  • Plan and schedule special services, worship nights, Christmas, and Easter services with efficiency.
  • Flexible range of musical styles.
  • Coordinate set up and tear down for all audio-visual needs within the church.
  • Ability to read music, transpose, and teach others music theory.
  • Instrument skills are a bonus. Piano, keyboard, or guitar preferred.

 

Optional

  • Full-time availability with other responsibilities.

We speak often of what this church will look like in fifty years after many of us are gone. Our staffing goals are to increase staff that will equip God's people for the work of ministry.
