Bi-Vocational pastor

First Baptist Church of Dixon is seeking a Bi-Vocational pastor to lead our church according to God's word and direction. The pastor shall conduct Sunday services and Wednesday night Bible study. He shall perform congregation visitations, counseling, funerals and other ceremonies as needed. The applicant's beliefs should align with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) and the Baptist Faith Message (BFM) 2000. Salary will be based on education and experience. Ideal candidates will possess the requirements outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

First Baptist Church of Dixon is a small congregation of 50-80 members. The church was founded in 1899 and has been serving Dixon, Missouri continuously since then. Dixon is a rural community of @ 1500 people and an area population of @ 2500+. Dixon is located 20 miles north of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., 25 miles west of Rolla, Mo. and @ 50 miles from Lake of the Ozarks.
